Why are my Withdrawals Blocked?

Have you recently made your first ZAR deposit to ChainEX and now you would like to make a withdrawal but noticed that your withdrawals have been blocked?

The reason for this is to help reduce and prevent any scammer and third-party deposits from being sent to ChainEX.

Resolving this issue is fairly easy and simple to do.

In order to make the withdrawals available to you, all you have to do is:


  • Contact the ChainEX Support team over here with the following information:
  1. A clear Proof of Payment*
  2. Your name
  3. Or where the funds are coming from
  • Once you have sent the required information to the ChainEX Support team
  1. Your account and ZAR deposit will be investigated and reviewed*
  2. Once you have passed the reviewing process, your withdrawals will no longer be blocked to you.


*Please note that a bank statement does not classify as Proof of Payment.

*Please note that the reviewing process can take up to 2 business days to be completed.
